Fox Removal & Control in Indiana

Red foxes and gray foxes are found throughout Indiana. Red foxes are more common in suburban and agricultural areas while gray foxes prefer wooded terrain. Foxes are generally shy but can become bold when habituated to humans, particularly when fed. They prey on chickens, rabbits, and small pets and may den under decks, sheds, and outbuildings. Foxes are a rabies vector species in Indiana, and any fox behaving abnormally — active in daylight, showing no fear of humans, or appearing disoriented — may be rabid and should be reported immediately.
